El Custodio

This film is about Rubén (a brilliant Julio Chávez), a bodyguard of a top politician who is so dedicated that he's in danger of losing his own identity. He's actually experiencing politics at first hand, yet he's locked out: in the determing moments he has to wait in front of the doors. The filmmakers attention is focused on the perspective of the bodyguard, and that's where its power and its challenge lies.
