Le 3ème clou

A strange man is found dead in a small village in the Jura, a trafficker of weapons and religious objects. A federal investigator is assigned to the investigation and soon finds himself confronted with the regional mannerisms of the inhabitants, a fretting abbot from the Vatican and phantom appearances of a strange little girl, not to mention the rather brutal Chechen terrorists or the enlightened followers of a sect devoted to the Madonna. A mystical whodunit portraying parallel worlds in which the manner of conducting the search is highly unique.
