Mimi, a 60-year-old woman who appears much younger, explores places where she once lived: Nice and the hilltop village of Saorge. She visits the grave of her father, who died in the war. Together with the director, she seeks out the sports ground, park, harbour, railway bridge and the area around the station because they rekindle memories of her childhood and lost loves.
